San Francisco police reported two homicides within 32 hours.
The first, at 8 p.m. Saturday, was on the 5000 block of Third Street, in the Silver Terrace neighborhood.
Officers called to the scene found a man on the ground with injuries from what was described as “an aggravated assault.” He was taken to a hospital, where he died.
The second homicide was at 4 a.m. Monday in Halladie Plaza, the entrance to the Powell Street BART station, at 5th and Market streets. A man was found with stab wounds, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police did not release the name of either victim. No arrests had been made as of Monday.
