OAKLAND — Two men were shot in West Oakland on Saturday morning, authorities said.
The shooting took place around 7:03 a.m. in the 900 block of Brockhurst Street between Market Street and San Pablo Avenue.
Police said the two men got their own transportation to the hospital before officers arrived to the scene.
Numerous shell casings were found on the street next to a parked vehicle.
Police are trying to determine if the men knew each other, and if the car belonged to one of them.
A motive for the shooting is under investigation. No arrests have been made.
Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $10,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest of the shooter.
