The Standard Manufacturing SP-12 Pump Action Shotgun
Available in three different models, Compact, Pro, and Standard, the SP-12 is manufactured from aircraft grade 7075 machined aluminum. Both the Compact and Pro models feature a 14.5-inch threaded barrel designed to accept choke tubes and other accessories. Similarly, the Standard model features an 18.5-inch threaded barrel.
The SP-12 is a truly ambidextrous shotgun, including controls that can be equally accessed from either side. Likewise, shells are both fed and ejected through the bottom of the receiver.
The Standard model includes an AR-style adjustable stock, providing a variable length of pull for every shooter. Conversely, the Compact and Pro models utilize the birds head grip for easier maneuverability in tight quarters. As such, the Compact and Pro models are classified as “other” by the ATF.
Both the Compact and Standard models feature a full-length Picatinny rail for the mounting of lights, optics, and other accessories. Likewise, they each include M-LOK mounts on the sides and an extra bottom Picatinny rail at the end. The Pro model is much more trimmed down with only a small four-slot bottom Picatinny rail at the end of the barrel.
Each model accepts 1 ¾-, 2 ¾-, and 3-inch shells and can mix and match a combination of any of the three. A capacity of eight rounds is possible when loading all 1 ¾-inch shells and 5+1 when loading 2 ¾-inch.
