MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle called Elon Musk a bully after he mocked her and her network when she attempted to criticize him on social media.

The Twitter spat unfolded after the billionaire entrepreneur posted a meme on Wednesday ridiculing recent revelations about President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden’s troubles with illicit drugs.

“Imagine the positive impact you could have on the world if you used the extraordinary amount of influence and power you have to spread decency, kindness and positivity?” tweeted Ruhle.

“Imagine if MSNBC did that,” Musk fired back.

While Ruhle’s response garnered more than 43.4k likes, Musk’s retort received more than 180.8k likes. She replied by challenging the entrepreneur to come on her show but he didn’t respond.

Ruhle later tried to harangue him on her MSNBC show that night.

“It baffles me that a man literally on top of the world would ever waste time punching down,” she complained.

“He may have more money than anyone on this earth, but he doesn’t have more time than you or me or anyone. So why waste his? Why not spend the earned influence and capital he has to lift people up, rather than behave like a bully?” she added.

“He’s an unconventional guy and there are a tons of good reasons to break tradition and change the game. But I see absolutely no reason to give up on common decency,” she concluded.

Ruhle also admitted that her two teenage sons “worship” Musk the way many others do.

Musk could have been referring to videos posted to social media that reportedly show Hunter Biden cavorting with prostitutes while imbibing illicit drugs. Another report said that President Joe Biden had sold a million barrels of oil to a Chinese state-owned company that his son had invested in.
