OAKLAND — Police were at the scene of a double injury shooting in an East Oakland neighborhood, authorities said Wednesday.
Shortly after 1 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting near the 7800 block of International Boulevard near the city’s Arroyo Viejo neighborhood, police said.
When officers arrived, they found a male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Paramedics arrived and provided treatment before taking him to a hospital.
Officers soon learned that a second victim shot at the scene managed to obtain his own transportation to a hospital. Both victims were later listed in stable condition.
Investigators did not share any information about a possible suspect or associated vehicle description.
