If you were a kid during the 1980s and 1990s, you were probably head over heels for anything Lisa Frank. From pencils to notebooks to Trapper Keepers, Lisa Frank was absolutely everywhere. The company was started by Lisa Frank in 1979 when she was just 24 years old. It was initially named Sticky Fingers and intended as a children’s jewelry company. Luckily, the name Lisa Frank stuck and soon she was creating some of the brightest, most colorful creations on the market. Her work frequently depicted neon colored animals—notably tigers, leopards, pandas, dolphins, cats and dogs, as well as aliens. It became a cultural phenomenon over the coming decades and was a must have for stationary and school supplies.

These days, Lisa Frank continues to be celebrated by fans worldwide and the nostalgia is alive and well.
