A man suffered life-threatening injuries after being shot Saturday night in South San Jose, authorities said.

San Jose police were dispatched to a shooting at 7:31 p.m. near the intersection of Monterey Road and Rancho Drive, SJPD tweeted. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man suffering from life-threatening injuries.

SJPD has not released any further details regarding the circumstances that led to the shooting or whether any suspects have been arrested.
