Bleachers, the popular rock act led by super successful songwriter-producer Jack Antonoff, has canceled its upcoming set at the BottleRock Napa Valley festival due to COVID-19.
The group was supposed to perform on the last day of the three-day festival, which runs May 27-29 at the Napa Valley Expo in downtown Napa.
“hey bottlerock people — it’s a huge bummer to announce that we have to pull out of tomorrow’s show due to a positive covid test in our band,” the group tweeted on May 28. “this sucks and is one of the risks of touring during these times, but the tour will go on and we’ll pick back up in london! stay safe!”

The band was supposed to be the main support act for Sunday mainstage headliner Pink. Now, it appears from the festival’s website that the 6:30 p.m. slot will go to Vance Joy.
Of course, fans were saddened to hear the news that Bleachers wouldn’t be performing at BottleRock and a number of them expressed their feelings via social media.
“am sad because i came only for you guys but i hope you guys are ok, i’ll see y’all next month :(,” tweeted @iwannagetbettr
