PACIFICA – Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a driver who injured an 8-year-old boy in a hit-and-run collision last week in Pacifica.
On May 19 at 4:25 p.m., the boy was chasing a ball into the street when he was struck by a car on the 600 block of Manor Drive, according to the Pacifica Police Department.
The boy was taken to a hospital, where he was treated and later released, police said.
The car was described as a silver-colored Honda Accord. It was last seen traveling westbound on Manor Drive.
Officers are also seeking witnesses who stopped to help the boy in the hopes they can provide additional information about the hit-and-run collision, according to police.
