Minutes after Warriors star Draymond Green picked up a technical foul for arguing with the officiating crew in Game 2 of the Western Conference finals, Green had to be held back from the Mavericks bench following an altercation involving one of his teammates.
Golden State guard Damion Lee and Dallas forward David Bertans were whistled for double technical fouls in the second quarter Friday after Lee and Bertans were tangled up following a Bertans shot attempt.
Just one minute after Lee was called for a charge that led to a verbal dispute between Green and a Kane Fitzgerald-led officiating crew, it was Lee who whistled for a technical of his own after he toppled onto the floor at the Chase Center.

Lee came rushing into the corner to defend a Bertans 3-point attempt, but was unable to stop the Mavericks forward from extending the Mavericks’ lead to 47-34. Bertans fell to the ground after his shot attempt, but picked himself off the floor just as Lee started to run toward the frontcourt.
Bertans’ contact sent Lee tumbling to the ground and led to an immediate confrontation in front of the Mavericks’ bench. Green found his way toward the front of a scrum and appeared to be exchanging words with a handful of Dallas players when Warriors assistant Mike Brown stepped in and convinced Green to return to the Warriors’ bench.
