Oakland’s legendary Everett and Jones Barbeque is joining the Sonoma County’s Graton Resort & Casino. This restaurant will be the first foray outside of the East Bay for the business that was founded by Dorothy Everett and her daughters in 1973.
Look for pork ribs, brisket, chicken and E&J’s signature homemade links from the Rohnert Park smokers starting sometime this summer.
“Everett and Jones has long been recognized as one of the top barbecue restaurants in the Bay Area,” Mario Maesano, vice president of marketing for the 65-acre, 200-room resort, said Tuesday in announcing the news. The pitmasters will complement a lineup that includes Tony’s of North Beach, the 630 Park steakhouse, the Daily Grill and the Boathouse Asian Eatery.
This will make four locations for Everett and Jones. The family currently operates the main restaurant at 126 Broadway in Oakland, another Oakland location at 4245 MacArthur Blvd. and a Berkeley one at 1955 San Pablo Ave.
