Every story needs a hero and a villain. Villains add conflict and even cartoons for children need a bad guy or gal. But let’s be honest, many of our favorite villains are totally awesome. Villains have some of the best costumes in all of animation—with many of our favorites falling under the always fabulous purple, green and black color scheme. They’re also incredibly sassy and petty, which we love to see. Plus, we can’t forget that villains often have some of our favorite musical numbers of all time.

Villains are totally great and they deserve all the shine. We’ve gathered up some of our favorite tattoos of cartoon villains in the gallery below. Take a peek at these tattoos and let us know your favorite bad guy or gal from this list in the comments section on social media.
