Dmitry Bivol (20-0, 11 KOs) and Canelo Alvarez (57-2-2, 39 KOs) had T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas rocking on Saturday night.
In just his second fight at 175 pounds, Alvarez moved up in weight to challenge light heavyweight champion Bivol for his WBA world title. Alvarez was the favorite to come out on top and had been a champion in four different divisions: junior middleweight, middleweight, super middleweight and light heavyweight.
However, the 12-round bout ended in a major upset, as Bivol retained his title and undefeated record in a unanimous decision victory.

“I felt I won, I did enough. But that’s boxing: You win and you lose … There are no excuses. He is a great fighter; you have to accept defeat,” Alvarez said after the fight. “I want a rematch; it doesn’t stay that way.”
Floyd Mayweather, Odell Beckham Jr. and Jake Paul were among those who shared their thoughts on the title fight.

The boxer always prevails… Canelo is also a boxer but banked on his power to much

This fight was tough! Heart of a Lion

Canelo lost fairly easy, only way I see Bivol losing is if the judges decide to steal it from him. You can’t win just hitting the arms they aren’t scoring blows.
