SAN LEANDRO — A 75-year-old man was beaten with a skateboard and hospitalized Tuesday, authorities said, after being battered in the face and skull.
In a social-media post, the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office said a suspect wielded a skateboard to batter a 75-year-old man, damaging his face and skull, in the 16200 block of East 14th Street in San Leandro.
The post contained an image taken from surveillance-camera footage of the suspect holding the skateboard over the victim, who suffered a brain hemorrhage and was later hospitalized in serious condition.
