SAN JOSE – Crews on Thursday afternoon were battling a fire near Interstate 880 and Highway 87 in San Jose.
The blaze was reported at 4:24 p.m. in the area of West Hedding and Spring streets, according to the San Jose Fire Department.
The fire department said no injuries were reported and the fire was not threatening any structures.
West Hedding Street was closed between Coleman Avenue and Ruff Drive as a result of the blaze.
