The SOG Knives Recondo FX
Constructed of cry-treated 440C the Recondo features excellent hardness, strength, and wear resistance. In addition, the stainless steel is rust and corrosion-resistant, making it perfect for water-bound professionals. Likewise, the black titanium nitride finish helps boost the corrosion and rust resistance even further.
With an overall length of 9.6-inches, the full tang design includes a GRN/TPU rubberized handle. As a result, the ergonomically crafted handle offers enhanced control and retention and remains virtually indestructible.
A deep finger groove, coupled with textured sides ensures a solid grip during use. Similarly, jimping on the handle’s spine meets up with jimping on the blade for slip-free use. Additionally, an oversized lanyard hole at the pommel allows for affixing a retention lanyard.
The 4.6-inch blade features an aggressive clip point for maximum penetration and is available in straight or slightly serrated edges. Correspondingly, the saber grind meets up with an oversized swedge, bringing to tip to an even more aggressive profile.
