San Jose police are investigating a homicide that took place Saturday night in the city’s Seven Trees neighborhood.
At 6:08 p.m., authorities responded to the 13000 block of Pfeifle Ave. in response to a report of a shooting. Individuals at the scene brought an adult male with a single gunshot wound to a local hospital before police arrived. The man was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
No suspect has been identified and police are currently investigating the motive of the shooting.
The name of the deceased individual will be released once they are identified and next of kin are notified. The incident marks San Jose’s eighth homicide of the year.
