DALY CITY — Firefighters on Friday night rescued a hiker from a cliff below Palisades Park in Daly City.
The incident was reported just before 5 p.m. at 1 Thornton Beach Road.
Around 7:30 p.m., the North County Fire Authority announced in a social media post that firefighters had successfully rescued the hiker.
“The crews set up a high angle rope rescue system and rappelled over 500 feet to gain access to the hiker,” the agency said.
No injuries were reported.
