Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry could return to full practice this week as he recovers from a sprained ligament and a bone bruise in his left foot.
Coach Steve Kerr said Curry is “day-to-day” but won’t suit up for the Warriors in the postseason until after he has scrimmaged. The team is next expected to scrimmage on Thursday.
A source told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski that Curry remains a “close-call” to be available Saturday for Game 1 of the Warriors’ first-round series against the Denver Nuggets.
Curry has missed Golden State’s last 12 games since suffering the injury in a March 16 loss to the Boston Celtics.
Information from Andscape’s Marc J. Spears was used in this report.
