Housed in 6000 Series machined aircraft-grade aluminum, the TLR-7 Sub is durable and reliable. The durable construction also features an IPX7 rating, providing waterproof properties, down to 1 meter, for 30 minutes as a result. Likewise, the TLR-7 Sub can operate within a wide temperature range of -40°F to +120°F—perfect for any environment.
Featuring the latest LED technology, the TLR-7 Sub provides a high 500-lumen output and 5,000-candela beam intensity. As a result, it has a beam distance of 141 meters. Likewise, the light provides 1.5 hours of runtime on a single 3-volt CR123 lithium battery. Correspondingly, due to the single battery operation, the TLR-7 Sub weighs a lightweight 2.39 ounces with battery.
The ambidextrous rear switch offers three operations—constant on, momentary operation, and strobe. Accessible on both the right and left sides of the trigger guard, the switch features an impact and chemical-resistant housing.
As the name implies, the TLR-7 Sub fits on sub-compact pistols. As a result, there are four versions of the light, depending on your model of pistol. There is one model for GLOCK, one for the SIG P365, one for the Springfield Hellcat, and one for select subcompact pistols featuring 1913 short rails.
