Happy 3.14159 and on and on!
Pi Day (3/14) falls on Monday this year. But you don’t have to remember that pi represents the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter (yeah, we always have to look that up) to take advantage of these pizza pie and other pie-related promotions:
FIRST … THE PARTY: San Francisco’s Exploratorium, which created this holiday back in 1988, will host a celebration of what it calls “the irrational, transcendent, and never-ending ratio that helps describe circles of all sizes.” Monday’s event, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., will feature art, music, spoken word and plenty of numerical fun. Find details and order tickets at www.exploratorium.edu.
THE DEALS:
