Junior welterweight undisputed champion Josh Taylor returns to the ring for the first time since winning all the belts in an upset victory over Jose Ramirez in May 2021, to face Jack Catterall in the main event of a Top Rank Boxing card at The SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland on Saturday (ESPN+, 2 p.m. ET).

The fight was originally scheduled for Dec. 18, but Taylor suffered a knee injury and the bout was postponed until Feb. 26. Catterall is the WBO mandatory challenger. He stepped aside early last year to allow Taylor to face Ramirez for all the 140-pound belts.

Taylor (18-0, 30 KOs), 31, of Edinburgh, Scotland, won the IBF belt — his first world title — with a unanimous decision victory over Ivan Baranchyk in the World Boxing Super Series semifinals in May 2019. He added the WBA belt five month later by defeating Regis Prograis in the final.

Catterall (26-0, 13 KOs), of 28, of Lancashire, England, was very active in 2018, fighting four times in 2018, including decision victories over Tyrone McKenna and Ohara Davies, but has fought only three times since then.

Also on the card, Robeisy Ramirez (8-1, 4 KOs), 28, of Cienfuegos, Cuba, goes for his ninth consecutive victory in a 10-round featherweight battle against Eric Donovan (14-1, 8 KOs), 36, of Athy, Ireland.
