The twins born Tuesday at Stanford Children’s Health might have an easier time remembering their birthday — it falls on Feb. 22, 2022.

Minika and Mishika Adlakha were born a week early at 8:44 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. to first-time parents Prachi Adlakha and Rahul Taneja, according to a Stanford Children’s Health news release. The hospital described the twins as “happy and healthy bundle of joys.”

Their birthdate is palindromic and reads the same forwards and backwards.

“I am generally bad with numbers, but these are a set of numbers that I will always remember,” said Taneja. “This is literally a once-in-a-lifetime day for my family.”

There were 15 deliveries, including the twins, and five scheduled cesarian sections as of 5 p.m. Tuesday, according to the hospital. The Johnson Center for Pregnancy and Newborn at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford delivers around 12 babies a day and 4,500 babies every year. Other twin deliveries were reported across the country Tuesday, including in Florida, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Iowa, Texas and Pennsylvania.
