Housed in lightweight aluminum with matte black finish, the Discrete Advanced Reflex Concealment (DARC) optic is durable and tough. As a result, it can withstand day-to-day use while maintaining a consistent point of impact. Likewise, the scratch-resistant, hydrophobic coated glass lens can withstand regular daily use. Correspondingly, the lens features an Advanced LED Technol lighting system with 3 MOA dot.
The optic features 10 brightness settings and two night vision settings. In addition, the DARC automatically adjusts to the surrounding light levels but provides a manual override of that feature. With the 12-hour auto-shutoff, it has an always-on battery life of two to three years of average use, with the CR2032 battery. Similarly, the DARC has a dark storage life of four years.
Designed for single stack or carry pistols, the micro pistol dot footprint makes it easy to install. The DARC is compatible with most 3rd party mounting plates, for maximum compatibility. However, it is direct mountable in the factory slide cuts for the Springfield Hellcat, SIG P365, and Glock 43/48 MOS. When mounted on these platforms, the low mount profile allows for co-witnessing with the stock iron sights.
