Let’s face it, it has been a rough couple of years, but we made it. So far. Sometimes spoiling yourself is just what the doctor ordered to lift your spirits. And what better way to spoil yourself than with a beautiful revolver? Not just any wheelgun though, something extravagant. Specifically, the Korth and Nighthawk Customs collaboration Mongoose 2.75” Carry Special, ought to do the trick.

The Korth Nighthawk Customs Mongoose 2.75” Carry Special

Known for high-quality revolvers, Korth teams up with Nighthawk Customs for its most compact .357 Magnum revolver to date. As a result, comes an ultra-concealable wheelgun with the kind of aesthetics you have come to expect from Nighthawk Customs.

Although the Mongoose is not new, the 6-shot revolver was previously only available in 3”, 4”, 5.25”, or 6”. However, it is now available with a 2.75-inch cold-forged barrel. Likewise, the frame and all parts are fully machined from the finest billet steel available, according to Nighthawk Customs. Riding atop the Mongoose is an adjustable rear sight, coupled with a fixed post front sight.

Rounds are sent downrange from the six-shot cylinder via a high polish faced trigger with smooth action. Correspondingly, the Mongoose can be fired via single or double action. Slimmed-down Hogue grips also provide the interface between man and steel, for a comfortable shooting experience and concealed carry.

The Mongoose comes chambered in .357 Magnum/.38 Special, with a 6-shot cylinder. However, the unique thing about the Mongoose is the polygonal rifling in the barrel. As a result, it is capable of also firing 9mm. The unique cylinder system easily swaps between the .357 and available 9mm cylinders in a matter of seconds. Additionally, the design of the 9mm cylinder avoids the need for moon clips.
