SAN JOSE (BCN) — The California Highway Patrol Friday morning reported a fatal collision that occurred on southbound U.S. Highway 101 in San Jose.
The collision occurred near the state Highway 87 connector, according to the CHP.
The collision, which was first reported at 1:15 a.m., briefly closed down all southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 101, and a Sig-Alert was issued.
The roadway has since been cleared, and all lanes were reported open at 4:26 a.m.
