CONCORD — A pedestrian was transported to the hospital with major injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Concord on Friday.
The collision occurred Friday at 6:18 p.m. in the area of 1581 Concord Avenue, according to the Concord Police Department.
Police have identified the pedestrian as a 64-year-old man.
The vehicle was traveling west on Concord Avenue and struck the man as he was crossing the road.
Police are investigating the incident.
