SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX) — A service dog out walking with its owner was stolen in San Francisco Monday evening, according to police.
‘Summer,’ a 5-year-old German Shepherd, was on a walk near Waller and Octavia streets around 7:43 p.m., when a thief grabbed the dog by its harness and fled.
Summer is microchipped and is a certified service dog.
Anyone with information is asked to contact SFPD.
