Four more members of the Detroit Pistons — center Isaiah Stewart, point guard Saben Lee, point guard Killian Hayes and shooting guard Rodney McGruder — entered the NBA’s COVID-19 protocols on Thursday.
That gives the Pistons five players in the health and safety protocols, including rookie point guard Cade Cunningham, the top pick in the 2021 NBA draft and the team’s second-leading scorer, who entered the protocols on Tuesday.
The Pistons’ game against the Heat on Thursday night in Miami continued as scheduled, with Detroit losing a close one 115-112.
