Alex Caruso sprained his left foot in Monday’s win against the Houston Rockets and will be out at least 7-10 days, the Chicago Bulls said Wednesday.
Caruso was hurt with 5:56 remaining in the first quarter, went to the locker room and didn’t return against the Rockets.
Signed this offseason as a free agent, the guard has been one of several bright spots for the resurgent Bulls, averaging 8.4 points and 4.0 assists in 26 games.
Chicago’s game against the Raptors on Wednesday was postponed due to COVID-19 cases with Toronto. The Bulls, who’ve had their own COVID issues, are scheduled to play the Indiana Pacers on Sunday.
