Constructed of durable aerospace aluminum, the Micro Scout Light Pro is the lightest in the Scout line, at 2.1 ounces. As a result, the light adds little weight to your rifle platform, remaining virtually unnoticeable until needed. Featuring Hard-Anodized coating and O-ring seals, the solid construction keeps out elements, even when submerged in 3 meters of water for 30 minutes.
The recoil-proof LED puts out 300 lumens, illuminating targets up to 65 meters (70 yards) away. Similarly, SureFire’s smooth parabolic reflector technology shapes the output, for a far-reaching, high-intensity beam. The reflector also generates surround light, so you can see what’s around you as well as what’s in front.
A shrouded, push-button tailcap switch allows for quick, easy activation, even in high-stress situations. The tailcap allows for momentary-on activation, with a partial depression, for a temporary light solution. However, full depression until it clicks will deliver constant-on lighting. A patented lockout feature prevents accidental activation during storage or transport. Simply rotate the tailcap counterclockwise one complete turn to activate the lockout.
The Low-Profile Mount (LPM) from SureFire provides excellent versatility, allowing the user to mount the light close to the weapon. Utilizing either the included Picatinny or M-LOK mount, you can mount the light anywhere on your platform. Additionally, the swivel allows you to move it out of the way of other accessories or bring it in tighter to the rifle.
The Micro Scout Light Pro operates on a single rechargeable AAA, for 1.25 hours of continuous runtime. Although it can use disposable lithium or alkaline batteries, it delivers optimal performance via the included SFAAA-1100 NiMH battery.
