SAN FRANCISCO — A man was fatally shot early Sunday in San Francisco’s Mission District, police said.
Officers responded shortly before 5 a.m. to reports of a shooting at Potrero Avenue and Cesar Chavez Street, where they found the victim with a gunshot wound, according to Officer Robert Rueca.
The officers gave aid and emergency medical crews took the man to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The man, whose name was not released, died at the hospital, police said.
