MORGAN HILL – A 31-year-old Gilroy man has been arrested in connection with a shooting last month at a Morgan Hill bar, authorities said.
At about 11:35 p.m. on Oct. 29, officers were called to the M&H Tavern at 17365 Monterey Road for a report of a fight involving a man who discharged a firearm, according to the Morgan Hill Police Department. No shooting victims were found at the scene.
Police said an investigation resulted in the identification of the suspect who fired the gun.
On Wednesday, officers with the Morgan Hill/Gilroy Regional SWAT Team served search and arrest warrants at an address in unincorporated Gilroy, according to police.
The man was arrested on suspicion of willful discharge of a firearm in a negligent manner, according to police. He later posted bail and was released from custody.
