OAKLAND– A 23-year-old man was punched and carjacked by two suspects at a Montclair district supermarket Friday morning, authorities said.
The man was attacked about 9:55 a.m. on an escalator at the Lucky Supermarket, 1963 Mountain Blvd., authorities said.
He was confronted by two men wearing ski masks who punched him in the face before taking his car keys from his pocket and making off with his 2005 Honda Accord that was parked in a rooftop stall, authorities said.
It was not immediately known if the man required any medical attention.
His vehicle had not been recovered as of early Friday afternoon, police said. More detailed descriptions of the suspects were not released.
