SAN JOSE – The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a woman’s death in unincorporated San Jose.
About 10:45 a.m., Wednesday, deputies were called to the area of Dale and Jerilyn drives for a report of a person down, said Deputy Russell Davis in a news release.
Davis said deputies found an unconscious woman. The woman received medical attention at the scene and was taken to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
“The details surrounding this death are currently under investigation and more information will be provided at a later time,” Davis said.
The woman’s identity will be released by the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office once it has been confirmed and her next of kin is notified.
