FREMONT (CBS SF) — A rock slide has closed Niles Canyon Road in Fremont Sunday evening as heavy rain continues to drench the East Bay.
Just before 8 p.m., Fremont police said Niles Canyon would be closed in both directions for about three hours due to rocks and debris in the roadway.
CalTrans was responding to the slide and people were being urged to avoid the area.
