Copperfield’s Books is hosting a virtual event with award-winning baker Dorie Greenspan to mark the release of her 14th cookbook, “Baking with Dorie: Sweet, Salty & Simple” (Mariner Books, 400 pages, $35).
The conversation with the Bay Area News Group’s Jackie Burrell, the Features and Eat Drink Play editor, will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27. Registration is free.
The James Beard Award-winning Greenspan is the author of 13 cookbooks. Her newest emphasizes accessible recipes made with everyday ingredients, and she encourages home bakers to put their own mark on her desserts. This collection includes recipes for berry biscuits, double-decker caramel cake, rye-cranberry chocolate chunk cookies, miso-maple loaf with apricot jam glaze, s’mores ice cream cake and 145 more.
