Pacific Gas & Electric crews on Sunday afternoon restored power to almost all of the more than 4,000 people affected by two outages in Gilroy and Morgan Hill.

Seventy people remained without power in Gilroy and three were in the dark in Morgan Hill as of 4:30 p.m., according to the utility provider’s outage map.

Earlier on Sunday, an outage that began just before 8 a.m. had left 3,059 customers in the dark in Morgan Hill, according to Karly Hernandez, a PG&E spokeswoman.

The cause was not immediately known, and it was under investigation Sunday morning.

An additional 1,001 people had been without power in Gilroy for parts of late Saturday night and most of Sunday when a car hit a pole, according to the utility provider’s outage map.
