Washington State Patrol troopers took drastic measures to stop a woman in a golf cart from getting on the freeway Sunday.
“#FirstTime in my 30 years we had a short golf cart pursuit,” WSP Trooper Rick Johnson explained in a short Twitter thread Sunday (September 19). Johnson, who’s the agency’s public information officer, said a “female in distress” tried to get on State Route 167 the wrong way.
Troopers reportedly used a PIT maneuver to keep her from entering the freeway, KFI reports. The woman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to Johnson.
